After several years TOM TOM I did by studying reviews the transition to Garmin. Bin so far not disappointed. It is quite clear that each product has its "quirks" and you only have to get used to new handling itself. The display, the type of command, the input ..... everything is just a bit at Garmin unlike TOM TOM. Very good and fast the satellites are detected when Garmin. The announcements are concise. The command works well, as the route search for it. Ok, the preloaded voices could be a bit variable. The street names are sometimes not perfectly pronounced. But that's, I think, is not decisive. The mount works perfectly, so I bought a plate for mounting on the dashboard. Now, the Navi is closer to the driver and is wonderful to use. So far I am very satisfied. Hope this is also still looking for a long-term test. Important for the purchase decision was the life and free access to new maps. The first update after purchase, however, has lasted an eternity. But that's for other products too. After all, some MB have to be moved.
