Recommended age not quite fit

Altogether us the interactive series of Ravensburger like it very much. The pen is really very good and well thought out.
We had a game file on the PC in addition to load on the pin, which went very quickly and easily.
The Tiptoi is very high quality and is comfortable to hold. Only the volume could still be a bit noisy (the max. Level is still quite low, if you have a few kids at the table)

The game English detectives is nicely designed for children, the board is very colorful and the motives are very meaningful.

The game itself is played in German and English. All manuals and instructions are in German and the tasks are in English. The game can be explained at the start of the pen by itself, so that the entry is really easy.

I regret in this variant, you can not change the difficulty. My daughter (2nd class) had the 3rd time playing without help from arising all the points collected, Mr. Mad went away empty-handed. The game is far too easy for school children in the long run, besides that, in many tasks the solution is almost always the same (such as in the film studio: play at 5x, it was always the same figure). The only difficulty is that you in some tasks the pin understands just bad (green and gray are very difficult to distinguish the colors match)

Conclusion: The game is made quite nice, it's also fun to play with my daughter. A learning effect I see in this game, only slightly, because it provides easy to little variety and you unfortunately can not choose different difficulty levels. The game has a recommended age to 10 years, the holding unrealistic ... unless you want to bore his child with simple English words. I would recommended age very nearly put namely preschool through 1st or max. 2nd class
I find other variants, such as the number of island clearly successful because you can really play this game over several classes.
