we have been given 8 years ago (2006) this WK. I'm very satisfied. How long does the water by plastic (if at all) tasted - I do not remember. Just as I find the WK not particularly noisy (may be so, I would have another in the kitchen for a direct comparison, would have me otherwise decided) WK has all this - for me - important functions: water level indicator, anti-scale filter, "on" light, the case is not hot, cooks pretty fast, non-removable cover, de can open easily with your thumb. The scale filter is broken 2 months ago, but has always kept out really long. Unfortunately, the WK has become too small with a liter for our family with three children now.
when searching for a new WW I only get to read all the reviews after about three hours. headache and was still inconclusive, I have therefore decided the same WIK WK but to buy 1.5L. The joy was great that I've found so one, as great disappointment was in the delivery: I got back 1L-WK. When imaging was a with 1.5L, in the text, however, was 1L! The return was absolutely no problem and free. But this has nothing to do with the WK himself.
