After extensive compare I've gained these feeders for my 160-gallon aquarium. It must be programmed quickly and easily: 1. Insert the battery (two standard AA-size batteries are supplied) 2. Set the time 3. Number of feeding times to luxury hotels (one to four) 4. Number of servings per food Fütterzeit set (one or two) Done. The feed hopper can be easily removed, the metering offers from Mini Portion to about Eßlöffelmenge (when using granulated food) more than enough bandwidth. The feeding is done with a slight rotation of the feed drum clean and reliable. The only suggestion I would have a on / off switch for the Fütterfunktion, stick to the get the programmed times. If you need for shorter or longer absences the machines time and again, it has currently only two possibilities: 1. Remove the feed hopper and let the machine run at the programmed times daily "empty", or 2. Remove the batteries and store the unit. The next time you use everything must be programmed again (see above). This is not Riesenakt but annoying in the long run. A small switch would increase the cost of the device by only a few cents, but offer real added value. Conclusion: I would buy the device at any time and can wholeheartedly recommend it!
