for the price I was not expecting much and was surprised it. I bought the tripod for my Nikon D3100. Since I was looking for a tripod for our hikes, my weight was important. The stand is well made and is also stable in windy conditions. Even works well on the rocky beaches of the Cretaceous rocks in Rügen.
