Visually, the board certainly not the great looker but functional hitherto blameless. She looks more like a flat candy box with rounded corners - cover surface matte black with WD logo, black glossy pages. It's NTFS pre-formatted and with a 40 cm long USB 3.0 cable supplied with the USB-A connector on the plate side Micro-B plug. Backup software is not installed. The operation is indicated by a white LED which flickers when data access and otherwise stays on without disturbing. For several days, the board operates in virtual silence as a data store to a satellite receiver and also dominates more operating time and recording time without interference. Both the computer as the receiver it is recognized immediately. Video playback is flawless - only at extremely fast forward it seems to come to their access limits. For me - if everything remains - a buy recommendation.
