And it feels good at first! And there would be no contact with the plastic. The plastic cover is just outside (not inside). Otherwise it quickly heats up, the cable is not very long but very adequate. She's pretty enough (it is less beautiful at the junction of the spout that what you might think the photos). The amount is more than ample for 3 large cups. To see if it fits in the time ... The cover is practical, it holds if we reverse the kettle, it completely removes if you will, and we do not burn. The welding of the pouring neck (inside) does not seem done by the electric arc.
