First impression: stunning design, fun, but that does some thinking about my children's toys, including plastic hand turbine ... I personally am not a fan.
The advantage of this product is clearly dan its innovative and ecological functions, the ability to be recharged by the solar panel or by hand turbine. It is a gesture in the air time, the awareness that the planet is suffering terribly and need to find other ways to use energy, which also rechargeable batteries.
That's good, that's commendable, the question is whether the product has a real interest, especially regarding the aspect 'emergency'.
Personally I'm not a great traveler, and I do not do camping. I recharge my laptop with me, like most, or by a portable battery. Flashlight, flashing light: I have no utility, but I guess it can be used when you travel a lot by car, for example. And my laptop has a flashlight function also. Alarm function: it is, again, my laptop that go out of my dreams in the morning. I do not listen to the radio a lot, sometimes working with my computer.
Suddenly, the Soulra not seem to be useful for me, a real city. But it could have its uses for people who live in the country for travel. Not so much for campers / hikers, because for this it is top big, too big anyway.
