After a really short introduction how Isometric Übugen work in general, muscle groups of the whole body be for "all" visible (main) exercises in 3 different angular positions (eg biceps tense with almost stretched arm, biceps tense at a right angle, biceps tense in upper position) indicated, in order to achieve a complete workout for the particular target muscle. The scientific basis to isometric muscle training has clarified, inter alia the exercise physiologist Theodor Hettinger with many years of research. The book takes all these aspects not, but comes straight to the point. It's a handy reference in the isometric exercises without (much) theory, is shown well illustrated. The exercises are shown by 2 Fitness Models (male, female), who probably never trained with isometric exercises - but both are quite well built and clearly demonstrate the exercises. Rounding out the book is after just described main body in the rear part by "FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions), a short part for slimming (the tips are manageable - this part you can safely skip), a part of "mini-workouts" ( weight exercises such as push ups, etc.), Animal Workout (in which, for example, runs like an animal such as crab / Cancer) and called him Isotonics Power (in which the muscle is held and moved under tension).
Overall it is a good book if you're looking for suggestions about isometric exercises. Unfortunately, the author has partly "stolen" even the text and to a large extent even the exercises of John E. Peterson. John E. Peterson deserves for the work that he (see review here) and with his books "Isometric Power Revolution": has "Pushing Yourself to Power The Ultimate Do It Now Do It Anywhere Lambs to Lions Complete Guide to Total Body Transformation" presented all honor, because he has done the exercises again or ever salongfähig. I can happily recommend the reviewed here book by David Nordmark for sale. Who would like rum more background information and even more so I recommend the books by John E. Peterson or for lovers of the original scientific theory Theodore Hettinger - "Isometric muscle training" (ISBN 3609648708) / Important: 5th edition!
