Haida Optical Neutral 3 Neutral Density Filter Set 100 mm x 100 mm ND0.9 (8x) / ND1.8 (64x) / ND3.0 (1000x) - Incl. Haida filter bag
(My order here at Timetrends4 on Amazon).
The filters were delivered each individually in an overpack. Two filters were delivered in a nice bag from which can be difficult to remove the filter. The third filter was delivered in a plastic box with a microfibre cloth. On the back of the filter, an approximately 1 mm thick frame is glued of foam rubber. This frame seals the filter holder from the back and will probably prevent extraneous light. The color neutrality is good in my opinion. A slight color cast can be removed in the EBV. (My B + W filter is as much farbstichiger). There are no streaks o. Ä. To recognize. The filters are made of glass, about 1 mm thick and therefore prone to breakage.
This breakage is significantly lower in the supplied Haida filter bag. It can be six filters, also accommodate the size of 100 * 150mm. The bag is provided with two tabs. This allows the bag to your belt or even attach to your camera bag.
Addendum:
A solution (for me): In case of longer exposure times I cover the transition filter / filter holder with a larger cleaning cloth or my cap ;-)
Haida Pro II MC Optical 150 mm x 100 mm GND Soft Edge Gradient Filter 0.9 (8x) (12.5%)
(Supplied by Timetrends24).
The filter has a nice smooth curve. A slight color cast can be removed in the EBV. The filter is made of glass and highly remunerated. This is in my opinion a major flaw. The compensation is a highly reflective surface on both sides, as it is known from sunglasses. This is reflected in the front lens or in the other filters. Remedy brings seemingly wrong arrangement of the filter. I have been setting the course filter as a first filter in front of the front lens and a neutral density filter, which results in wonderful reflections. Conversely, the Grauverlauffilter used as second filter, resulting in fewer reflections. I must, however, in more detail, and to try out in the sunshine.
