Foreword
-----------
I have already tested a number of Bluetooth speakers. I confine myself here to the micro, mini and medium class.
The speakers must be battery-powered and portable. All other features are initially encores.
The most important thing for a speaker the sound is very clear, then come feel and handling.
Nevertheless, the appearance already makes me decide if the speaker ever gets a chance to advance.
In order to support my first opinion or to give the device a chance yet, I find out, among other things on Amazon and Youtube.
The Rokono B20 Bass + I noticed immediately positive in my weekly research on Amazon.
For more information, other than that of the dealer, I could not find the net and decided to test this device.
Design and packaging
-----------------------------------
The Rokono B20 Bass + is supplied in a solid and attractive box. In the box are to secure the Lausprechers pasgenaue upper and lower shells of rigid foam. To the extent that already makes a very good impression.
After the smooth withdrawal I think the speaker in his hands and realize a very good workmanship and material selection.
The stainless steel mesh has no sharp edges and is worked out precisely.
Overall, I like the design very good and stands out from the many tubes and brick shapes.
The controls are obvious to recognize nevertheless the Rokono B20 Bass + looks noble.
So far so good, 5 stars.
Technology
------------
Because through the speaker is not so much to find on the net, I run the technical data with my
Brief here again.
10W RMS output, selectable DSP sound change, Water-resistant to IP54, up to 10h playing time, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 3.5mm input
After these facts I come now to a little ugliness.
In the online product description is spoken by 3-equalizer modes.
The manual is silent, however, from this. I guess there is only "DSP mode on and off."
Unfortunately, that does not appear in any status LED or equivalent rhythmically flashing.
Sometimes I do not after prolonged listening also not clear what mode I am.
Then I turn to the easy out once and again. Thus I know that the "flat" mode is on.
In addition, the bottom of the Rokono B20 Bass has to make do without jeglicheGummifüße +. Since at least on my model but the floor is uneven, the Lautpsrecher wobbles always slightly back and forth and creates an annoying rattling.
This costs the Rokono B20 Bass + unfortunately an overall rating and thus he gets in this area 4 stars.
The Sound
--------------
A key feature that immediately caught my attention, is the function of being able to change the sound mode. Volume + and - at the same time press shortly and after about 1 second you will hear the acknowledgment tone. More later on the DSP mode.
Sonically plays the Rokono B20 Bass + very nice and fresh with clear highs and mids. In the bass range potential is present that is already on the Start-detectable. Please do not compare with the mini JBL Charge 2, Bose SoundLink Mini or Denon Envaya because they play in a different league and are also at least two to three times more expensive. But that does not in turn means that all cheaper speakers are poor.
On the contrary, the Rokono B20 Bass + proves that you have a lot of fun and listening pleasure with him.
The suffix "Bass +" I translated like that. "Bass" stands for bass reproduction in normal operating mode
and the "+" stands for the switchable DSP function. This conjures up no abysmal Super Bass, but overall the sound is fuller in the lower part and the bass at 100 to 120 heart is clearly being shoved.
The mentioned DSP function do I turn like, if I as a setter as TuneIn Radio use, which brings no equalizer.
Since making the Rokono B20 Bass + the correct tonal changes when using the DSP mode. The radio listening makes it clear more fun. To use PowerAmp using the integrated equalizer function is not necessary, but so is not a problem, just turn off and well.
The maximum volume is perfectly fine and only at the very end of the scale is the Rokono B20 Bass + something dirty and distorted. That's when many speakers unfortunately often much earlier the case.
Played very quietly makes the Rokono fun. Because where many opponents sound only thin, the larger volume of Rokono B20 Bass makes + noticeable. The Zusachltung the DSP mode of the sound seems a bit rich.
All in all, I certify the Rokono B20 Bass + very good sound quality.
Listening to music and the listening of radio plays and audiobooks fun.
Overall, I rate the sound of all use cases across with 4.5 stars.
From me gets the Rokono B20 Bass + a buy recommendation for anyone looking for no speakers for disco sound, but a stylish portable speaker for many everyday applications search.
From me there is therefore 4.5 star, due to the above-mentioned small technical problems.
