After many years with various smartphones, both professionally and personally, I have the Lumia 640 LTE gained me.
After the first few days, I feel incredible, "free" in dealing with my "service". The devices can do everything exactly what it is to be able for me.
After a short transition to the new OS and its logic I felt for years the first time the feeling itself to again decide on my device. While there are still some things that I would like to have more functions, can affect and adjust myself would, but compared to my previous "participants" I've never felt so comfortable.
Clear illustrations easily understood by the general surface to the menus. A Wohltat.Endlich not purely trimmed on optics icons are the only useless, capacity guzzling gizmos. And yet a great visual impact and, above all clear, simple and easy to find and therefore reasonably usable. An extremely successful blend between appearance and function. Design follows function and does not abide by the wayside ... kudos to the developers.
Absolutely inspiring is the speed. In the price range, there are no competitors for the Lumia 640. Devices that are faster and better cost, loosely 80-100% more.
Again and again applied criticism of Windows Phone devices, the lower number of available apps. Honestly ... I find everything I need, games for the kids, of the functions and individual system apps. I lack nothing at all here. It may be that these things be called something other than iOS or Android, but functional everything is just as available.
And let's be honest ... I am willing to pay for good apps because its development costs time and money. Objectively there is for iOS / Android simply more free apps, but certainly not better. For Windows Phone, there are content just as many, if not even more apps than for the "others". Although good cost rather what, but they are also really functional and well programmed.
I am absolutely delighted with the device / hardware and the OS, and very much hope that this smartphone, and especially Windows Phone, will be discovered by many others. The marketing as the product management is more responsible for its small market share.
And for those who prefer to be away from power for the money convincing than "free" test results (ADAC ick hear ringing you), should quickly gather their own personal experiences here.
And .. hey .. I had in the last few years that I have served devices with my GMail account. This wanted and I also use further because the Lumia 640 supports all functions of this account. Again, no restriction, but just full functionality.
Sure there are also in Windows Phone still room for improvement, but compared to the others, I finally feel this machine at home.
