I'm wearing the same model, which is built by Casio for decades virtually unchanged for the past 22 years, and on average I buy every 11 years a new clock - because the old the battery is empty.
In the meantime I have is for one decade a fantastic reliable clock that is even delivered Despite the low price with a stainless steel bracelet which conveniently power and can store and comfortable to wear.
My previously purchased identical models were declared Gents, the bracelet was there about 2 cm longer. But the 2012 via Amazon acquired model is advertised as a unisex watch, whose shorter by 2 cm become bracelet is almost the only difference I could make as design change by the manufacturer in more than 20 years. For extremely large and overweight men with a lot of bacon approach wrist Unisex bracelet of this clock is probably too short, but for me it is still sufficient. But even one centimeter shorter, it may not be in the future. The adjustment of the strap length is easily possible, requires the Zuklipsen of the adjusting but some force. Fortunately, the bracelet length must indeed only once be set appropriately to the support.
On battery powered watches always bothered me the usually every 15 months necessary battery change. Not so with this clock: Casio is building a lithium battery with a duration of 7 years according to the manufacturer, but if you almost never used the lighting function, the battery will last even 11-13 years. After about 10 years, one can at weakening contrast in the display to see that the battery life to an end, and sometime after 11-13 years is closing.
How good looks the clock, you can see on the promotional photos of the provider. What you can not see: This model is compared with many other inexpensive watches models quite flat. Namely, both flat compared to other analog and digital watches the same price class. For flatter watches as this one must usually rely much deeper into their pockets and receives the same price usually only watches that apply much thicker.
What one does not see in photos also and in the first few years not even at the clock: The watch case is made of a chrome-plated plastic and not made of stainless steel as the bracelet. This is in the early years even with daily use, no problem: Since Casio gets applied right permanently to the plastic housing the chrome detail, flashes the clock as if it were made of chromed steel. But if one day, the clock in use, they often side lays on the case or what about it sets, the chrome plating but then suffers over time, and after a decade of use then comes at some points of the case where the chrome is frayed, then but the white plastic of the case to light.
Also wear during years of use show the control buttons: If the clock is still occasionally exposed time in the rain or when washing hands water splashes or sweat when sweating under exercise in midsummer, pressing the buttons over the years becomes more severe, the control buttons are difficult to move. If you want to avoid this, the clock has probably ever keep dry, so they may not keep washing your hands with times under the tap or use for cycling in the rain.
A special scratch resistance of the glass is not given, this is probably no glass at all, but a plastic.
For operation is hardly anything unusual to say: The operating concept has proven itself obviously. When setting the date and time you have to do not specify a calendar year, that this model does not account for leap years. February 29 is unknown. That is, the next time in 2016, the clock will jump around from 02.28.2016 to 01.03.2016 and then you have on 01/03. set the date again. But you can live with every four years. The accuracy of my Casio digital watches was always the case that they per month only 10 seconds ran inaccurate, this is also true for the present model.
If you want to set the clock seconds exactly one full minute, there is a very convenient flash adjustment in the event that the clock is less than 30 seconds goes wrong: Press three times the lower left button for setting the time, the running seconds is flashing. Pressing then the right button, the time jumps to the next full minute before or back, depending on where one minute is closer. A very convenient way to precise second-enactment of his clock, if one wants to maintain this through monthly to quarterly excessive adjustment on a deviation of less than 30 seconds.
Overall, an unobtrusive and reliable watch. The quality and especially the battery life can be expected significantly higher than in this price range. Taking into account that one saves by the lithium battery within 11 years about 7 to 10 battery changes, this clock saves alone when changing the battery over the years more money than it costs at all. I think that's great!
