However, I regret to admit that I've never been really happy with this compact Sony over the last few months because they could convince me in any way from the handling. Now I was tired of permanently to annoy me with this poor control and handling concept around and have tried as quickly as possible to the new TZ41 from Panasonic. Since I had already diverse TZ models in my possession and actually was always quite happy with this, I felt right at home. The TZ 41 is a lot easier and less (thinner) than the "block" HX20V. In addition, the operating concept is finally rebuilt logical and this stupid flash does not work precisely on where any normal person has photographed his finger at. What Sony has been thinking ......
However, I am also of the opinion that the 18 MP is unique for such a compact too. Here Panasonic could reduce the number of MP at 16 or even 12 analog of the top model GH3. That would have the TZ41 determined even more upgraded.
The image quality is at the TZ41 to 1600 ISO for my taste a little bit better than the HX20V. More than 1,600 ISO however is admittedly the HX20V slightly forward. But since I do not eh photography in this high ISO areas with such a compact, I do not quite care. In the video quality of the TZ41 HX20V is in my opinion superior to something. Again, I see on my 65 "TV an advantage of TZ41 over the HX20V, also inflated the AF the TZ41 in low light not like the AF of Sony. The TZ41 everything something in particular more quickly and unerringly as the Sony acts. Even the new stability of the TZ41 is superior to the HX20V.
The level of equipment is the Tz41 top. What I like best control of the entire camera from the Lumix App. That's really great, useful and helpful. In addition, it works perfectly simple and straightforward. Also NFC's top and extremely useful for me. The GPS tracking works relatively fast and reliably.
The complete processing Lets nothing to be desired, but here the HX20V was also very good.
I am definitely more than very satisfied with the TZ41 and glad that I could finally replace the HX20V.
