Replaces 40W with me bulb

The lamps make an overall good impression. I bought it as a replacement for the 40W bulbs in the bathroom mirror cabinet as well as in the nursery. From the brightness I can not see any difference to the 40W bulbs, which is very good.
The light is brighter, however, an idea, which I think is rather a pity. Nevertheless, the color of LED bulbs is ok.
Furthermore bothers me, but even that seems to be normal for LED bulbs that the light cone extends not as strong in the area of ​​the base. The old bulb has indeed blasted in all directions (front, back, left, right, up, down). If this LED bulb hangs vertically below the ceiling, the ceiling is darker than that of a conventional light bulb, making it turn on the overall impression in the room felt.
Therefore, I find this lamp in the bathroom better than in the nursery.
