So now to the phone:
I have consistently faltered and ultimately simply decided from avarice for Wiko between the HTC One Mini 2 and the Wiko Wax. I must say though that I am a big fan and my old HTC Evo 3D have loved hot despite numerous shortcomings notably because it was an extremely robust phone, which hardly anything could touch.
I'm more aggressive with my property in order - I use and no luxuries and accordingly they must be able to endure what. And although it actually starts with what good, I'm so already during my first and my main criticism:
The Wiko is super processed (clearances top) and looks stylish, but: It is completely made of smooth, slippery plastic, feels badly fragile and is due to the extremely low weight (my old HTC was a small brick building) as a feather and so feel unsafe in their hands. And before now a screaming: Yeah, I knew before and I take it in stride, but a lack, it is for me nonetheless :) What has nevertheless driven me in the end to buy, is that the display of Gorilla glass and thus but hopefully a little bit abkann.
The rest of the phone has then but so far but convinced me that 150 less are well saved: A super nice, crisp display with rich colors, a smartphone that runs speed technically of a previously very satisfactory battery, which can replace especially may, if he does eventually becomes mush, preinstalled little waste, simple Androidoberfläche without much nerve and frills, integrated speakers that really convincing, despite the low resonance space ... and the rest you can read in the data sheet.
Minor flaws:
- The cameras are not as plump and here you realize just but the 150 difference. Fortunately does not itch me, because I rarely take pictures anyway and the Selfiezug I'm not on his feet, so schnurzegal.
- I'm much in English and go on my old HTC could simpelst on the keyboard of German switch to english. What you miss when Wiko much, but if necessary, I find it still a solution.
- The accompanying headphones are as you would expect more of a good joke, but if you are traveling a lot with headphones, I recommend anyway to add itself some good in the store
- The pressure on the on / off button, it takes sometimes a little until the unlock screen appears.
- The built-in Android Music Player drove me quickly to the brink of insanity and the search for a reasonable alternative has done the rest: I'm used to it from HTC players that there is a way to select multiple songs at once, in order to add a playlist. I usually up to five different playlists that I update frequently and change and it's incredibly annoying when you have to add each song individually to one of the lists. Otherwise, I just needed a simple widget for lock screen, to be happy. The two features get together is not as easy as it sounds: finally I've found an app called shuttle, which ensures the relatively intuitive, uncluttered layout.

Sorry to turn my very positive review after four weeks use radically. Basically, the positive things have not gone away - in theory they are still there ... if the phone for work times. For two weeks now that is running did nothing more. In week 2, it was still bearable. The phone went frequently out easily and had to be restarted. From my old HTC I was quirks as freeze etc with age increasingly usual and then it was all good, so took me that was not too bothered. But it did not stop when going out (which was so far a bit stressful because I was always afraid that it starts at night and then my alarm clock does not start). Sometime froze the image a permanently. If you press the on / off button, it took seconds for the screen leapt. When calls came, the phone began to vibrate while / ringing, but it opened no caller screen, so I sometimes could not take calls. I then the update to Android 4.4. partly filled at the beginning and then everything was sweetness and light - to the error after a short time began to pile up again. Meanwhile, the phone will work on average two hours before desolate aufblubbern error messages, it restarts by itself, only to bring then back error messages, the display freezes, linked apps from the home screen disappear so all completely arbitrary, with no order. A virus can not be - I have two apps to all varieties malware / viruses / spyware / waseucheinfällt on the phone and now one of them deleted, because I thought there was one probably Kompatabilitätsprobleme.
Since today the phone only works if you do not touching. Have just been made a return request and the HTC One Mini 2 ordered more for 150. I suppose I should make from the outset. Well ... failed trip to the French, now I crawl with his tail and whimpering for mercy back to HTC. For any warranty jokes I do not have time, I need a working phone and I need it best yesterday. And from a four weeks old device I expect it to work.
I am quite upset and disappointed and unfortunately once again come to the conclusion that experiments do not pay off and you prefer to stay in well-tried. Too Bad. The first impression was good ... and deceptive.
