Positive aspects:
stocking and lightweight body.
- Clearly arranged controls
-Simple and easy handling
-leiser Photography mode
- Distortion correction works perfectly
- RAW processing works
- Guide mode, perfect for beginners and newcomers
Negative aspects
- No exposure, focus or white balance bracketing
- Sometimes slow triggering
- No controls for designated ISO / WB / Metering
- Video has defects (blurry images, only mono, autofocus is not kept well and loud)
- LCD monitor not particularly well resolved, difficult to judge whether the focus has been sitting properly if you do not zoom into the picture
Image Quality:
- Perfect realistic color reproduction
- More accurate autofocus
- Good momentum
- ADL works well for subjects with high contrast
- Very good noise profile: In bad light I find the photos to at least ISO 800 to ISO 3200 excellent and still very acceptable.
The price-performance ratio, the D3100 is unbeatable.
Shooting in good lighting conditions are excellent .... A great basic equipment for great photos !!!
