Naomi Klein is the question correctly: It's not about carbon, but about capitalism. It describes the problem well: a social order that is geared towards growth for profit, leads to disaster. The book is important and alarming, even if it is in its strong feulletonistischen presentation to read some difficulty. For me, disappointing is the consequence: Naomi Klein will not end up saying what the only realistic consequence must be the courage to abolish capitalism. This is certainly a concession to the rampant not only in North America anticommunism. Here I recommend to continue the book by Stefan Engel: Disaster Alert What to do about the wanton destruction of the unity of man and nature. It is in contrast with to Naomi Klein scientifically, but easy to understand written and proves that humanity has a future only if we overcome capitalism. And it shows how.
