Robust and without any defect with max Gigabit Ethernet ports

At the very miniature size (154 x 85 x 24 mm), beefy switch (metal case) inspires confidence. It consists of eight RJ45 ports supporting different standard Ethernet protocol (802.3x): 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps (802.3 and 802.3u) and 1 Gigabit. It also supports energy saving network equipment (802.3az standard).

Easy installation ("Plug and Play") you plug and it works! It comes down to the basics: there is no wifi, no web management interface and no QoS management (QoS 801.p standard).

With its impeccable design, Linksys quality is at the rendezvous: the logo and the color reminds me of my old Linksys WRT45G wireless router cult since its launch.
The front panel comprises a tensioning blue diode and diode 8 "LINK / ACT" corresponding to each of the 8 numbered Ethernet ports. These LEDs flash during network activities in their assigned port and voyent far without being blinding and flashy as some of the computer boxes today.

If you are not as "geek" than me, you can fall back on the model 5 ports (LGS105 Linksys Gigabit Switch 5-port 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Plug and Play), cheaper but just as effective. A buy without hesitation.
