Already with Angus' first reef, so after less than two seconds clear who pulls the strings here. Dust dry and snotty place the rocker going on with the theme song rock or Bust. The pace is not really fast, almost leisurely, yet bombastic, comparable to a bulldozer zuschnauft threatening and unstoppable on the handset. Play Ball starts melodic, flaky and sneaks in just a few moments in legs and blood. Rock the Blues Away conveys the inimitable liberal lifestyle of the New World even if the musicians from Down Under come. A hymn equal to the piece pierced in the ear canal. Miss Adventure places the emphasis elsewhere, less deep breath, no bearing waves, much more rattling riffs with headbanging appeal.
True black it is in Dogs of War. Fat and dirty smolders the song, engages with a robust rhythm inexorably around. It continues in classic hard AC / DC-style. Rock of House, however, has the blues, one whose melodic element with bone-dry hardrock consistency. By electrifying Emission Control to AC / DC say goodbye to rock or Bust, hopefully not again for six years. Because music that reveals from the first note to the artistic fingerprint of a formation for decades is scarce in our times. k. Isberner
