Just buy it, especially at the reduced price ... I must admit that I was initially totally against this purchase. I I have approximately 1.5 years extensively studied the various robotic testing, all of which have not convinced me. Well, in one year, some did ... Technically, the part is really mature and prices move at a manageable level. We have a strong shedding Labrador and allergies in the household. To date, we have 3x daily vacuumed. Now life is so much easier ;-) The Gassi rounds Roomba is activated, and to return the stall clean. And clean is really clean! Of particulate matter on dog hair up to pea-sized crumbs everything is taken reliably. At least on smooth floors like parquet, laminate and tiles and short pile carpets. On the right carpets I was skeptical about the suction power. So far gabs no problems with intricate hair or other blockages. Once or twice a week I clean brush module and collector, and the wheels with the normal vacuum cleaner. Stairs are really reliably detected (at the beginning I did a couple of times holding his breath when the iRobot is hurtling at full speed on the edge ;-) The docking station also finds reliable, only for docking even he sometimes needs several attempts. As already mentioned several times, the station is very light and is therefore gladly moved. In the end though klappts eventually always. The virtual walls work very well. However, the Roomba also has a very high entertainment value. Especially in the beginning you wasted light that actually saved time trying to watch the teeming Frisbee at work ;-) We have on the ground floor about 40 sqm spread over WZ / WZ, kitchen and hallway. It is worth the Roomba about 1 hour including chair leg slalom. Basically the suction finds its way through open doors in all rooms. Effective and faster it goes, however, if you close the doors and will implement it in between. Between letting the Roomba then run on other floors. The docking station not brauchts it. Roomba turns off after a while of not finding off with an appropriate message.
Conclusion: Instead of having to unpack only 3 times a day 1 time a week the "large" vacuum cleaner (and then only for the stairs and corners), is already really a relief. The cleaning performance is top, the handling easy and the price performance ratio is right (thanks to reduction to 389eur) And a certain fun factor is attending ;-) For me, the best buy of the year.
