POSITIVE (as a supplement):
+ Very bright, anti-reflective HD display: optimal conditions for outdoor use
+ Imperceptible fan
+ Graphics card turns on only when needed: extended battery life
+ WIFI AC, new and faster wireless standard: with ac-enabled router connection to 866 Mbit / s
+ Very quickly at startup and operation with optional SSD in M.2 Port
Negative (as a supplement):
- No maintenance flap
A few more words on the subject of 'optional SSD':
Was appointed the unit directly to a 120GB SSD for the M.2 Port. Installation is not difficult, but you should know what you're doing, because the device has to be opened completely. In particular, the three ribbon cables that connect the top of the motherboard, are not connected via simple pin connector, but must be resolved by pushing or flaps on the plug or reconnected.
Hardier that, for the subsequent expansion of the smaller motherboard problem. The remaining connectors are dissolved (except the short rear connection of the board to the display on the hinge!), A screw removed and then you can tilt the board so that the M.2 port is freely accessible. The SSD is attached and plugged with a small, short screw (M2). This screw is not supplied and should first be concerned!
Then the assembly is done in reverse order.
Perhaps even as a small indication of the difficulty: I am familiar with desktop computers, although from, but previously never opened a notebook. Nevertheless, the installation of the SSD only lasted a good 15 minutes.
For the moderate use (Windows, Office, more application programs) about 120 GB are sufficient, also one has still the 500GB HDD. This constellation also caters to the already high battery performance, SSDs consume compared to HDDs hardly current.
I have not tested how long the notebook without SSD required for starting the operating system, but with a UEFI installation of 8.1 on the SSD there are less than ten seconds. Since it falls also not difficult, the Notebook in off times ...
