Ruthlessly efficient BUT ...

I have a Sapphire R9 290x with Ventirad stock (Red and Black not very effective, or not at all), the card turned 95 ° C (So bridled its performance to not exceed this temperature) while making a noise vacuum cleaner when the fan exceeded 60%. Now, the map not exceed 69 ° C on the most demanding games, even after several hours, the ventilos powered 12V not make more noise than that (My alim makes more noise than the rest of my PC, so I hear no map). I have not measured the temperature of VRAM and power stages, but the radiator placed on the map above is burning when the card is supported, so the heat transfer is done correctly, but maybe one fan on the radiator is not too much. (Too bad my ShadowRock 2, I have not the place).
The installation is not so complicated as you would have us believe, it does not take me three hours, the placement of the paste / thermal foam is easily done, just look or it was on the origirnal cooler, a little more dough would not have been too much either, but overall it's enough.

The big BUT, it is for the size at all when mounted. Base map is already impressive, but given that the GPU is psa the edge of the card, ca shifts of half a dozen centimeters of the cooler towards the end of the map, so it exceeds 5-6cm . The card was already great, but there it is huge. My Z11Plus had to undergo some modifications (Suprression first two HDD trays). So watch out for that. My card password 27cm to over 30.
