Sadly today

This is the first book I've read Michel Foucault and I found extraordinarily interesting. A very good combination of philology, history and sociology. Understand how since the Enlightenment and the Revolution, the companies created the discipline and the multidisciplinary study of men to carry out a systematic training of people who are immersed in a dream of freedom to think, to act and to exist. It has in fact never been so monitored and controlled today; since the writing of the book "progress" has been great. Woe to him who wants to leave the herd!
Unfortunately it is not fiction as in "Brave New World" of Huxley but a very serious study of the last three centuries ...
