This can -Music on "chill" sometimes especially true.
Not so with these. Massive Attack's one of the most brilliant bands at all, one can say they have invented a new sound, and already in the 90 years they dominated the "trip-hop" genre decisively. but this band drew always been a feature of: perhaps apart from the albums "Blue Lines" and "no protection" found on each disc also grottenschlechte long hamlet numbers that mediated the feeling that only the CD should be fully made. on these two albums there are weaker songs and especially on "100th Window" is "anti-star" all represented by the brilliant opener "futureproof" to the top-long hamlet.
on this sampler are now (not only) my opinion Listed by absolute best and most brilliant numbers this band, all that was weak or weaker missing. the juxtaposition of the songs creates new synergies, it could also be a concept album (as one that is filled with high points, but would even know who bring about!).
I own all Massive Attack discs and played me for the reasons listed above always with the idea zusammenzubrennen a personal "best of" what is but failed because I own "Blue Lines" and "protection" on vinyl. I had everything on CD, this song selection would pretty much been taken from me, the homogeneous succession but would probably not have got done so.
So: who has not heard of MA: This disc provides a convenient access to the brilliant moments of this band, all you need from MA.
who already has everything - buy anyway, for the car, for a chill evening, for the discman (there's something else?) or a 1: 1 abfülling in the mp3 player ...
Sound is excellent, no crap compared to the original, the older recordings seem even freshened up a bit - it 4 stars.
