OK, we get down to business ... I've actually always had good experiences with Samsung's mobile devices in advance, so we chose one of the 3 available Samsung Tabs, which in version 3 as well known as 7-, 8- and 10 inch version come along. 7 inches was me then too small (if you consider that the S4 has 5 inch has), and the 10er worked for me too clunky and its landscape has me did not like in design, so I opted for the golden mid Tabformate 3 and ordered the 8-inch device in black in the version WiFi + 3G (LTE is a Multi-SIM from the provider unfortunately not possible).
I use the tablet for everything: surf the web, social networks, now and then a game, as a reader for e-books, for e-mail traffic, as organizer, weather station, alarm clock, digital photo album, as a music player and sometimes the video shows, and what else halt so as drives (use as board therefore ruled out) - so far the device has mastered all the required tasks to my complete satisfaction.
HARDWARE:
With its 8-inch tablet, the leaves still with one hand carry, hard as it is with its just over 300g not, and it is very flat and built still solid. That the housing is made of plastic to me from the beginning was matter, because I have a protective sheath around it anyway.
From the performance point I can not complain, because the built-in Qualcomm processor and 1.5GB of RAM let the system and the applications running on it run smoothly and with high performance. The display resolution is totally unacceptable to me, and that it is not AMOLED technology, but a TFT display, does not interfere in the least. Only the automatic brightness adjustment is a little too dark, but the one can remedy the slider to the system.
The memory is 16GB extent sufficient (if you do not like me all sorts of stores), but the practical Samsung is well known that you can expand with an SD card - so well done - and I here to a SD Card Class 10 would advise.
The network connection via WLAN is usual liquid and can be compared with that of a standard laptop, the connection via 3G / HSPA + into the mobile network is the extent sufficient to go to surf sometimes (most cell phones use the same wireless standard). Since I Tablet however insets for the most part at home in the WLAN that's not so tragic.
However, those who now puts a high value on a camera, which should be concerned again, because with 5 MP and the installed camera sensor succeed not professional recordings, which I would seek to ask myself whether it really makes sense, with a Tablet to run through the area and to take pictures - there is in my opinion more appropriate equipment. The only drawback for me was that there is no camera flash.
The front camera with its half-megapixel for video calling but perfectly adequate (but who wants to make sure any "Selfies" should also here to resort to a more suitable unit).
In a nutshell, I can not complain about the hardware equipment really!
SOFTWARE:
("Pure" Android looks a little different from little info) innately tablet with Android comes in version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and because it's a Samsung device, the customized user interface TouchWiz.
One can now TouchWiz like it or not, I personally find some features of quite usable (Smart Stay for example, is very nice, also the read mode is a great thing, or even the menu guides in the system itself), and which at TouchWiz not like (Launcher and Browser For example, are absolutely not my thing, but that's a matter of taste) you can at Android Yes Any such replace the modular principle! The same is true for the included programs from Samsung or Google.
As a rich source software is of course run by the Google Play Store to mention where you just about anything to find apps, what your heart desires, and by means of which you can be system thus also to add many features and programs as you wish.
Anyone who has worked with Android expected to quickly find so rightly, and even for beginners, it is no problem to set up the tablet according to his wishes and to use, even if it perhaps may be unfamiliar or fiddly at the beginning - you will love it over time , For the "hobbyist" and "Rooter" of course there are also many ways to make something with the device.
CONCLUSION:
I want the Tab does not miss, because it fits my needs, is reliable, and it gives me immense fun with it to "Touchen"!
