I migrated my mailbox a raspberry pi to this banana pi (dovecot / postfix + classic Modoboa) hoping to find good disk performance, rasppi being somewhat limited by the lack of disk controller ... On Raspberry PI, storage (SSD) passes via a USB2 adapter: perfs are gross of 22.7 MB / s On the Banana PI, an SSD directly on his direct SATA port gives little better: 36 MB / s! I imagined that the passage of a limited USB2 port 480Mb / s to SATA 3Gb / s going to be very significant: bah non, peanuts ... For 2x more expensive than RPI, returned to IO / is much worse.
