What I like about the converter is processing, it is OK,
class, even iff I did not need it that a Toslink cable was sent along, albeit a very thin, but still,
the power cord is also quite thin, we must halt nix kink or draufstellen accidentally, but the device is also not constantly built up and down, which has been going, the plug itself is good,
and it is a well-to-understand instructions in German and English as a booklet about to
whereby the connection of the part already self-explanatory.
One point deduction is available for the already mentioned here growl when switching channels, but which, for whatever reason, with me not always emerges,
Additional deduction of points from me it that the analog signal is quite thin, so I have to turn up my analog Marantz classics greatly, the signal is sufficient to the TV sound to support the surround sound, or when I want to listen to the radio. Is expected to become it's no amp in the converter, however, should be warned whoever wants to have high fidelity qualities should invest more.
All in all, it must be said, the converter does what he should, and that is at the price also ensures adequate!
UPDATE: One year later: Meanwhile, I have a (yet affordable) D / A converter of Musical Fidelity in the V-series, the V90-DAC, and that's a completely different caliber. I now derive OGG and MP3 content via your home network in a Chromecast, which is the signal to the Samsung TV and from there it goes through the Optical Out in the V90-DAC D / A converter and from there into the analog amplifier. The same chain I have when I look Watch Ever movies, or listen to the radio. And of course, as well as the normal TV-audio and satellite radio from the Samsung out is fed to the analog system. By simply swapping cables can I use the V90-DAC or reviewed here converters, and the latter falls qualitatively very simple from which sound is heard flat. So I can only again stress, strengthen the way for the sound or listen to the radio, the small transformer is certainly ok, but for well-resolved audio from digital sources it is necessary that higher investment.
