I have long hesitated between making me a htpc (type ZOTAC) and simplify my life with a multimedia player, while retaining the ability to tweak optimize and then to force reading I came to choose this product.
Very good manufacturing quality, full connectivity to level, flawless playback of movies, photos and music.
The drive is a WD Green 3TO, I formatted twice as instructed played on a french forum specialized in the multimedia and comprehensive material on mede8r products.
divx no longer read for copyright riaons, but for many simply mofier the UNFCCC with a little software to believe that this is the Xvid and AC passes.
I did a film that does not pass but it is an encoding worries and I'll re-encode.

Note that the device was in v1.0x firmware, so I install the bootloader 2.0 and the latest firmware (very easy)

He shot a day continuous playback music, everything works fine and I looked quelqued movies and photo slideshows, everything is perfect.

I also love being able to customize skins, icons of directories (except favorite because I have not found), the jackets of films or album, and background images

It is not very large, is very discreet, silent and integrated everywhere. It is easier to carry around.

One complaint, though very subjective, I find the average remote control at the touch and reactivity of keys. As a kind of micro latency. However it is very complete and the backlight is useful
