Savas puts the crown on

They had at Kool Savas almost get the impression that he had passed its peak and would go down as the best German rapper in history who has never been a real classic album about. Instead, he has his talent on side projects concentrated as the optical sampler, the John Bello Mixtape and the like. One might think he would challenge, producing a real solo album so and to be judged shy, almost. That's when Samy Deluxe is not much different, the pushes his label, released mixtapes and also dedicated to the Gorge Otten design. But Kool Savas' hunger for success was probably not entirely satisfied and he has once more prudent on the essentials. And with this attitude are hopefully also the direction for people like Samy. Because of "Dead or Alive" everyone must let in the near future publication MC and of course Savas measure itself.

He was probably also confident because he has filed on his album in the style of a perfectionist. No second-class beats, filler tracks were out deleted entirely, and instead of meaningless phrases to thresh, there is in each of the 12 tracks clear statements. You can really feel with every song, what ambition Kool Savas has again brought out themselves. He sits down on the rappers, the five superfluous Skits, unloving pack hingerotztes intro and outro and mediocrity 10 tracks on the album, just to look the impression that they have a lot of material at the start. Savas makes it just right and waives all this stuff - and only way to create a classic.

Even the single "Voices of Authority", though by no means the best track of the album, is a clear statement with which power is Savas reports back. Anyone turning up the song loud is pressed almost into the chair, so you are flashed by Savas' over-flow and its hard hitting rhymes. Even the beat with its gloomy atmosphere enhances the effects of this title. No track on the album drops really, but it would be overkill, here to analyze every single detail. To emphasize perhaps are still "dead or alive", equipped with a hammer beat of Melbeatz, "Mona Lisa", where the breathtaking flow of Kool Savas again comes to its full advantage, and "sick", where Savas the grievances in German society aptly sums it up. And "On Top" with Azad is also goosebumps.

Savas has just done correctly with "Dead or Alive" almost everything. No second-class conglomerate beats that embarrassing and desperately try to imitate US Rap. No meager features that do not match Savas or can not keep up with him. Beat, Hook, rhymes, Flow: For each track, these elements are perfectly matched and always well above average. Without wanting to establish general requirements: The album shows all MCs in Germany, as one has to make a really good album and is the best thing that has long been published in Germany. For this year at best Olli Banjo "Life Show" can still compete in phases with "dead or alive". I must say that Savas with me so far attracted attention because his incredible potential and talent were uncontested. Now, by "dead or alive", I have deep respect for this man and his power. And he has thus brought about the aforementioned classic album.
