I do not know, but sooner were Pelikan fountain pen something very special. They were stable, were well in hand and you knew that if you buy a Pelikan fountain pen, you have something special. This pen looks good, is well in hand and is slightly rubberized. The font weight is not too thin and not too thick. Actually, it sounds quite good at but somehow I did not feel when I have it in my hand, that it is a pelican pen. It is made entirely of plastic and thus very fragile, if you roughly something to him.
In addition, this pen does not write continuously but has, so I have to follow the line again from time to time outs. He is also quite generous ink from. Not so much that it spills but the writing is very moist. I have a pen, which is about 15 years old. He is from Pelikan, metal and still writing. Whether these youth filler Pelikan will survive so long, I may doubt, because plastic is now even more sensitive than metal.
He is ok. But for a very good (5 star) it is not enough unfortunately. This is my personal opinion, which may see each other.
