The first impression when unpacking is very positive. The headphones look really classy and stylish from, especially the coating of the strap in jeans-optic white very pleasing (and is also removable). I have the black model and it hits really exactly my taste. The processing is very high.
The ear cushions are very comfortable and offer a great 1-A carrying comfort. The bracket can be adjusted easily in the size. They fit perfectly, are pleasantly light and it expresses nothing. Exterior noise is shielded noticeably even with switched off music.
With increasing wearing time, the ears are hot, however, since the headphones can lie very closely and be no circulation.
The cable has a practical length and the fact that it is flat, it is not tied so easily. That to me is a huge plus because I often spend a lot of time trying to untangle my headphone cable again ...;)
On cable, there is also a speakerphone for easy switching between music and calls. In addition, it is possible here about the music pause and reflect. When you double you get to the next track.
Unfortunately I miss the possibility to make louder and softer.
However, the recording quality of the microphone is perfectly fine.
Sound quality:
The sound is very natural and clear. There is no noise and also at higher volumes nothing sounds "tinny". Highs and lows sound equally well and also the bass like, not too strong and very pleasant to hear.
Overall, a great music experience, is a great place to dive in and be heard even out things that are otherwise not noticed me ...;)
Everyday use:
For everyday use I can say that the headphones lie very well while running and do not slip. Everyday sounds can be heard at normal volume barely.
As annoying I feel, unfortunately, that you can almost perceive every step through the headphones while running. If they are used only at home, but that is rather no counterargument. Too bad I find also that they can not be folded, which would facilitate the transport significantly.
Conclusion:
In the Philips CitiScape Downtown model is very chic headphones that are comfortable to wear and provide good sound with no excessive bass. Exterior noise is well screened - and the other way to outsiders not listen thanks Music Seal.
For prolonged wearing They are, however, in my opinion, less suitable because the ears are soon hot addition is a wireless, collapsible model for the way the better solution.
Overall, I can but the headphones and a friend at the price you can here certainly do not too much wrong.
