Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B

Before the Mugen 2 Rev. B I've been testing some CPU Cooler, determines the volume level and read with Everest Ultimate temperatures to normal and load. Zalman 9700NT Cnps etc ... The Mugen 2 has a large cooling surface and the manufacturer sends a good fan with the race. He turns mostly on 900U / min. (Adjustable) This is the CPU cooler on a very quiet operating volume. There are various accessories for the different base. I have previously operated with just that fans an Intel Core2 E8500. The installation of the cooler on the board is (I was) a little Friemel work. Now I have an AM3 Phenom X4 965 Black Edition and have to say that the cooling surface of the Mugen just as on the size of the CPUs fit to the millimeter .. An incorrect mounting and there are scratches. That's why I during the assembly set to 4Hände =) I was amazed by the cooling properties. With Zalman thermal compound in 10ml glass bottles and the Mugen Phenom comes at normal load just on 29grad. Under full load only marginally higher.

Conclusion: Highly recommended
