- Actual walkthrough (way from the start of the game until the Pokemon League)
- Small detailed explanations of various play functions (minigames at Pokemonami / Supertraining, Berries, photos, restaurants, transportation, battle castle, Global Link, TM / VM localities, Interaction table of types)
Anyone who has read the content carefully, is already noted that from this already yielded a number of problems. On the one hand, some things come simply twice before, while missing other things painful. The Table of the interactions between the types is in fact in exactly the same form 2 times before and also the fact why some features are only at the beginning of the book and then again declared at the end of the book remains a mystery. At the end of the book they are dealt with doubt a little more detail, but basically you would have the two parts may be the same summarized, easy also for clarity.
The solution itself is explained in sufficient detail as it has in the past volumes. The centerpiece is a map of the town, can be found on the Itemstandorte and coach. The following are lists of possibly required VM's, the items and hidden items (which are sending you not marked on the map), the ellite Pokemon (with probability of encountering) and possibly purchasable items in markets. Following the actionable items be declared the game progress, added special texts for specific tasks or special ellite Pokemon. Ultimately, therefore, the centerpiece of the solution book is implemented properly.
So, we come now to the most important things that are missing, despite the good scope of the book and simply into include:
1. The solution is simply to Pokemon League. The things you can do only after that will not be declared. Thus, you do not know where to find the other legendary Pokemon next Xerneas / Yveltal and which one at all can employ when you have finished the main quest of the game. The Endgame, the not quite unimportant for role playing, so is completely absent.
2. The most important part for many players, the Pokedex, missing completely, there is not even a list of the (few) in Pokemon X / Y completely newly added Pokemon. It would also at least 1-2 pages for a list of 450 in Kalos-Dex may be catching Pokemon here.
3. The mega-developments are entirely too short, considering that it is an important part of the new generation. It is neither a list of Pokemon provided that can make such a development let alone there is a list of the necessary items.
4. Speaking of items. A complete item list along with localities and / or prices does not exist. These are available, if at all, only at the corresponding place in the actual solution.
5. Also an overview of the new (and old) attacks and their effects is completely absent, although it was always there in old generations.
Conclusion:
To put it quite unverblühmt to say: With this guide the actual task of Pokemon Walkthrough is something wrong, which is easy for many players on initial and missing here Pokedex. Why here not even a complete list of all Pokemon (or at least the 450 Kalos-Dexes or (wenigstens²) of the few new Pokemon) provides that would have taken no more than 3-4 pages, is simply not understandable.
Anyone simply looking for a walkthrough with send cards and pretty pictures, makes the purchase of the book is nothing wrong, but who is hoping for a detailed companion games, will probably have to resort to this generation completely on the Internet.
Addendum: Meanwhile, contains (at least for the English-speaking world) a second volume, on the current state of the Pokedex (Kalos-Dex 450 Pokemon, not the national !!!) plus endgame content, announced. This will probably be released in January and hopefully translated into German (which I go out just once). Now this band is considered separately, I evaluate new at this point and still subtract 2 stars. On the one hand due to poor information policy, because yesterday was not yet clear that it will probably be a second bang. In a mail-demand from the manufacturer was even confirmed that there will not be second. The incompleteness and mistakes remain, with anyway, also the delayed publication of the two volumes is a bit of a shame. On top of that probably many the game in January are logically have already ... Thus 3 of 5 stars, for a game guide, that is to use as such only until the playthrough.
