You know how much I'm in love with these covers that are just simply sublime! A true object-book that I intend to keep, and I have no idea of separating me before ... ever? ^^ I must admit that starting volume 2, I was a bit lost, because I had forgotten what had happened in part in Volume 1 (goldfish memory, hello!). Therefore, I had a little trouble with the first chapter, then, later, I remembered almost everything, because the author did some booster shots that are good! So, I come out of this happy reading, with the desire to read volume 3 and the outcome of this adventure!

Peter is now part of Outrepasseurs, although this is not life nor the future he imagined. Still under the yoke of Noble, their "boss", he sees his life again undermined by capturing the terrible Snow Queen, the last of the free fairies. Although for the most part this capture is a sign of victory for Peter, it is quite another! Indeed, he wants to regain his previous life and that peace finally returns. For this, it must regain the Hunter, so that it can destroy the curse on everyone.

As I said at the beginning, I had a little trouble to get back in this saga, but it is by no means the fault of the author, no! Rather the fault to my memory goldfish, which has since had quite forgotten things that had taken place in the first game. Fortunately, Cindy Van Wilder was there for his little bites recall, finally allowing me to immerse myself in the book. It happened very quickly. During my reading, I wanted more than once to put in place (stay polite and courteous) Noble, which is one of the most infamous characters I've met in this saga. Proud to be the leader of this population, it does not hesitate to take extreme measures, without threats for the whole world at his feet.

However, Peter has a small character, which he does not bend as much as Noble would like. It is a war that snaps between the two, in which we participate in spite of us. What I liked in this suite is that each chapter focuses on a particular character, so that you get to know them more deeply, to enjoy them, hate them more and s attach to them, to a different degree, obviously.

Once one remembers all the pages scrolled so fast, we are increasingly frustrated when we see the end come-not great. The author does not give us a moment of respite from the revelations and actions that flow at a frantic pace. Here, you do not come across the gentle Elsa that we know in the cartoon "The Snow Queen". No, it is rather the original Queen of Snows, with its bad sides. She is cold, hostile, without compassion. Nevertheless, we appreciate the character, because ... well I like the bad guys who show such, but ultimately, hide inside them something more. And that's quite what Snezhkaïa. Hunter also found, which seems very different from the first volume. Although he still has his fierce hatred towards Outrepasseurs, he has something extra that intrigues us, giving us desire to know more about it.

I also loved the relationship Peter / Shirley. We know they are in love with each other but disgust has the boy to his "clan", the fact more and more away from the only girl he holds more than is willing to admit. For her, it's like a betrayal, what she saw. She shows her feelings towards him, and the only answer he offers is denial. What destroyed the inside, and to hide the disappointment, she shows him a hard face and without compassion.

Regarding the pen of the author, it is always nice and poetic at once. She handles very well the feelings and descriptions, so that you feel almost at their side, what I find really very nice in a book. It takes us into his world, and his imagination is truly boundless.

In summary, a second volume as well as the first, with twists and an ending that grows to read more. A Peter I appreciated even more than in the first game, as he is sure of his convictions and knows what he wants, at the risk of hurting those who love it. A Volume 3 So I read with great pleasure !! To wait for its release, now!
