As this saga tempted me for a long time and the first volume of The Selected mavait liked, i immediately started volume two! I lai found at the height of the first part with more of Shares and twists.
We find that America is now part of the elite, it ny has more than 6 girls of 35 candidates, the tension and rivalry are even more palpable. America is always true to itself, it remains strong, intelligent and courageous. In this volume one, it takes even more aware of the weight of the crown but also the potential consequences of certain decisions, good or bad. As for the male characters in the first book, my preference was for Maxon and like choosing dAmerica was already more or less oriented, I wondered why there were still two volumes which she still hesitated. Well, I totally understand! In this volume one, i preferred the aspen company that is a real comfort to America while Maxon moves away gradually. So, I'll be happy to finally announce its decision regarding these two boys: the prince or guard? For now, I dont have real preference We'll see how it evolves in the last volume.
Then some characters become increasingly important, and those who are already létaient increasingly searched and worked. Everything is not black or white. Special mention for the King to be, in my opinion, one of the most formidable characters. It's cold in my back and I have not wait for the dAmerica crossing situation again, even though I know this is inevitable! However, jaimerai learn more about the Queen remained fairly discreet until now.
What i greatly appreciated in my reading, it is the twists that do not miss! Sometimes joyful, sometimes grueling, the action is present and it is not displease me. New questions arise the answers but not always. I look forward to reading volume 3 den to learn more. Sought by renegades? and why? are the two major questions I ask myself and I hope to not be disappointed!
In short, the selection # 2: elite is a good second volume, in line with the first mavait who already liked! If you are looking for a friendly and that saga reads quickly, I recommend it !!
