Unfortunately, I think the focus too heavily concentrated on regular, rock-solid pop. To put it evil: This is about the more commercial music from the 80s. Ie the diversity of music of the 80s is mirrored in any way. In the 80's a number of other styles of music have existed, that would have been well taken care of on this compilation, for example, acid house / Chicago house (eg Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles), Hip Hop (eg Grandmaster Flash), P-Funk / Electro-Funk (eg George Clinton, Africa Bambaataa), Soul (eg Soul II Soul, Inner Life), Fusion (eg Weather Report). That would certainly have been one way or another discovery for the listener with it.
