The Steinel hot glue stick is delivered with a solid base charge from Amazon. The full charge is completed in approx. 1 hour and the device is ready for use. Compared to the previous reference, the Bosch (s. Link) already falls on that the Steinel visually appear slimmer, but then also significantly more ergonomic in the hand. Both devices have almost identical technical data and work with the same technology such as micro-USB charger and contemporary L-ion Accu technology. In practice, however, then at least show me also significant advantages in heat sealing operation. First, the dosage when Steinel is significantly better coordinated and the individual hot glue sticks pull better after. The nozzle is more precise than the Bosch and the output quantity is for many, especially filigree work, much better geeignet.Auch ergonomical seems to me personally better. The Steinel is better in the hand and the dispensing grip / - is also precise lever. Sometimes these are but subjective impressions, also depending on the respective application. Even with the Steinel I stuck among others baseboards and stones and pictures. With the included in delivery 2 glue sticks already perfectly. Basically, however, I recommend at least work to which the adhesive dots are sometimes visible, corresponding transparant curing pins or pins with stronger adhesive property.
My conclusion: The Steinel works compared to Bosch noticeably more precise and is more ergonomic. Design and handling are sometimes but a matter of taste, since both devices are almost technically identical.
Although now the Steinel is a few euros more expensive than the Bosch (the current bid price;! UPE is nahzu identical!) Is the 1st choice for me Steinel and from me therefore a clear recommendation.
