This collection includes 7 new "erotic" de Maupassant. They are all as charming as each other. One feels the heat of summer and carnal sensuality of the Mediterranean in "Maroca". "Gravestones" we squeeze into the Montmartre autumnal early 20th century. The variety of ages and situations is significant. Maupassant's style is very light, without any vulgarity. It simply suggests and subtlety while this is happening and what the characters are feeling. It stimulates our imagination. Do not expect much to come out openly for titillated of these stories. It is in the sensual than erotic literature, our contemporaries are far less prudish and more explicit. This does remains a playback quality and original I recommend gladly.
