Sequence Emotions

Like most people, I think I was skeptical, even almost indifferent, learning replacing Anette Olzon by Floor Jansen at how strategic position of vocalist in Nightwish.
I thoroughly enjoyed Tarja who gave his credibility and his signature to the group, but I accepted the courage to Anette who succeeded him. I consider Imaginaerum as an interesting and successful album. I refused to get into the comparative debate to which of the two sings best: for me it is different, each with its qualities and defects voice.
But now, Anette, a pressure management difficult due to a lack of onstage charisma fails to hoist the live performances of the band at their best. And when your name is Nightwish, with the level of demand anticipated by fans, this poses an insurmountable problem.
Also, taking advantage of a physical failure umpteenth Anette during the US tour, here away from the group, to be replaced by Floor, but now everyone knows the details of this story, so no need to expose again .

Going back to Blu-ray, which catches my intention is the Emotion that emerges.
I have already said, it is with great skepticism that I started watching this concert. The physics Floor no upsets me more than that and I did not know his voice.
But I was quickly set: the voice is certainly not lyrical, but powerful and very rock, and therefore it fits wonderfully with the music, making it much heavier and less cinematic. Moreover Floor is perfectly at ease on stage, headbanging to get in his head naturally, and displays no charisma worries.
She is equally at home in the register of Tarja ("Ever Dream") that Anette ("Storytime").
This has the effect of relaxing the whole group, which is at its best here. One only has to see the smiles displayed by all and the obvious good will of everyone to give their best (is it not Jukka thumping like a hungry death over his drums).
Result: there is a positive energy, and an extraordinary emotion that emerges from this show. It was not my surprise to have had goose bumps several times, but I speak not of horror happiness. Yes, the tension of the musicians finished watching the weak moment Anette, Floor ensures serious and suddenly the concert becomes a festive moment, sharing with the audience which is in heaven. Needless to say how eagerly I wait for the next studio album to confirm what many felt at Wacken Open Air ...
