Shape is functional and quite chic candle, price a bit tough

We had a Kinderset for the Christmas candle factory. It has given us a lot of fun and we wanted to try times a slightly larger candle with some technical design "pep". In addition, as much old candle wax (residues) can bring them back to life again.

The old instructions in this Kinderset was great and the wick fixing by means of a pencil described excellently. That helped us in this offer here candle shape significantly further since but is only something explained in the little manual leaflet about a drawing is missing.

Supplied with a curved mold with wick and needle plus a little guide are available.
The form itself is through their feet about 2 cm larger than the finished candle! The enclosed wick should be sufficient for 3-4 candles. With the needle can wick through the small opening in the better shape by pushing and later on the opposite side with the same needle fix (see photos Customer). The melting of the wax business as usual with a pot in hot water or we use it sometimes a little controllable hob (instructions are available in the small manual, please note the safety instructions!)
Tip: You can see the wick opening to the mold patch up something with Kit, then drips no wax out!

Upon cooling of the wax is always a candle crater on the top of the mold, which later constitutes the bottom of the candle. Here some residual wax should be watered. In February at 5 degrees outside the candle cools after approx. 1 hour completely and continuously. This is important for the next step, namely the removal of the mold. By raised knobs on the mold you can now quite easily knock out the cold candle. One encounters the form for on a firm surface to the candle out slips.

The mold serves its purpose properly. Unfortunately, the candle burns due to their curved designs with us right from one side and it drips therefore beside much wax. We have therefore placed under a large candle cup.
The price includes postage of nearly 20, -. Also taff something. You get it alternatively also a simple starter set with 2 molds incl. Color, wick and wax plate. Therefore, price-performance 3 stars (not bad).
Tip: We pour candles for some time and when you have mastered the technique of fixation wick (go easy) does it so mach round potato chip can or yoghurt pots as Candlemould actually.
