Why this tablet?
After a long search, which has never really convinced me,
I ended up at the Odys Next.
Since I was not sure (am) if I really need a tablet,
were the market leader for me not interesting or simply too expensive.
The Next run with the current Android version 4.x is fully in Market (Google Play)
integrated, all applications I've tested so far run wonderfully.
Tradition, etc. I do not need to write anything good.
Another positive aspect is the delivery,
Power Supply
USB cable for connection to the PC, works with Windows and Linux, both systems recognize the problems Next
USB host cable adapter, so that USB sticks allow (tested and works) and connect more USB devices, UMTS is thus possible via a USB internet stick
a list of dongles are there on he side of the manufacturer. (Which, incidentally, looks ok)
Attractive packaging
The Quick Guide is a bit sparse
Now to the device;
the display is large enough for me, the 10 inch devices are too big for me to lug the constant, which is a good compromise between mobility and functionality.
The viewing angle is ok, I can use the device relaxed.
The touch screen is also great because I had really expected that this does not work well, but here I'd taught a better country, who does what he should.
Nicely that's the next good plays movies, I have only tested XviD and AVI, but that
works great, even YouTube is not a problem, without that I had to install special software for the flat-player is included.
Mail and surfing is no problem, worked to integrate the WLAN to the Fritz box
also smoothly.
The camera, there is only a front camera is possibly in good light even for video calling
use to but not otherwise, I have not bought the tablet to take pictures,
with pictures look works very well.
Haptic do that Next to me a good impression, feels no cheap or if
unstable to, for an important point.
The only downside, I find, are the ports, a USB port is the port
to the PC, one for equipment, and the power supply has again its own socket, desirable
here would be the
a) the device also invites USB, so you always have the proprietary power adapter to lug
b) it does not matter which USB port you use
c) Built-in Bluetooth would be really nice
But the price outweighs the disadvantages more than on.
If I were not convinced, calibration would not have written my first recession,
over the lifetime of the device can probably no one what statements, but I am
because times voted position.
Certainly hard to beat in this price range, I would recommend it
