Alas, after only 4 months of intensive use and not with a regular maintenance and descaling, it presented a big problem. Indeed, it took more than 45 minutes to make a 12 cups (I timed and well verified that the intensity selection function was well inactivated).

I recall that the descaling is performed regularly and the water in my area is very little limestone, this is not the cause of the failure.

I contacted by email the sav Russell Hobbs Monday, Friday replacement coffee arrived, all expenses paid by Russell Hobbs. It is quite exceptional so I had to report it.

Unfortunately the 2nd coffee has received now the same defect as the first because it spends part of the water then stop in mid-cycle to resume, and then stop again so it takes more 45 minutes for 12 cups.

There clearly has a lack of apparent design on this model !!! They have stood as 4 months in 2 cases !!!

otherwise I find this coffee was pretty well designed, large capacity, and pretty easy to emploi.Je also notes, has been reported in other reviews, many of The Towel water accumulates under the cover and when opened it flows everywhere, it is a pity!
