Nothing is worse than when you can not make more pictures suddenly, because the battery is all. It is worthwhile therefore to always have a spare battery with you (only you should of course not forget, this charge before;)).
A battery from the manufacturer of the camera is more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion, to grab a little deeper into their pockets. With batteries from other manufacturers I have been made only by adult experience.
