The Light Alarm "Lumie starter 30" I'm testing now for several weeks and can report the following:
At first I was pleasantly surprised by the look and the size of the alarm clock. I was afraid it would be too big to for my bedside table, but the size is fine.
He does not act too bold.
The insertion of the bulb is easily and also to connect because the cable is long enough.
Since the clock has only three buttons, the programming is not just self-explanatory, but there are a guide. Thanks to this I had time and alarm time set in minutes. Since then, my alarm clock so every morning for 30 minutes to simulate the sunrise and wakes finally with an alarm sound. The alarm can also issue, if you want to be awakened only by the light.
The light also wakes me up in fact, almost always I'm awake shortly before the alarm. The light itself I find pleasant, soft and warm.
I use the alarm occasionally as a bedside lamp and find it for reading in bed is also very pleasant.
From my perspective, I feel that I actually gentle wake up and I'm not so tired in the morning.
The display on the clock displays the time and turn blue. These can exhibit itself, if it interferes.
So far I have not tested the sunset simulation, which can be used to fall asleep. That's a nice idea, but I do not need.
From here the functions of alarm heard then but. There is only this one alarm, no radio reception or other. It can even program an alarm time and it will only start when the evening it thinks push on knobs. I have unfortunately forgotten a few times. Too bad that can be set here no automatism. One can say that it is a standard feature. There are other models of Lumie that have more bells and whistles, but also cost more, of course.
Overall, I am satisfied with the clock, including handling and effect, but find that he likes even could use one or the other function.
