To the point: what concerns this great refrigerator and its features and everything you need to know was already posted several times and repeatedly. Therefore, I will limit myself to a small decision support on the issue or SIEMENS BOSCH:
A) Objective differences:
The two models are not identical, but more than fraternal twins; they are in fact almost, but not quite identical: the differences are:
1), in the color of the transparent plastic parts, many of which are installed (freezer drawers, chiller and Crisperfach, door pockets, etc.)
2) in the design of the top door pocket (butter / cheese compartment),
3) in the execution of the metal trim on the front edges of shelves, drawers, etc.
4) in the color temperature of the digital display on the upper edge of the refrigerator and
5) in the shape of the handles
B) Subjective Rating:
- SIEMENS: the transparent plastic interior is rather drab brownish-greenish-grayish and the top door compartment has a mE really impractical slide door :-(, is therefore always open only half either the left or the right All trims are metallic-matt what looks very stylish and also pleasant to the touch is :-); the temperature indicator is green / blue and looks quite spaceig and modern. :-). The handles are designed as round bars and some delicate, as the BOSCH.
- BOSCH: the transparent plastic interior is cool-blue :-) and the supreme door compartment has a practical vertical opening swing door, is therefore always open to all :-). The moldings are metallic high-gloss, what a bissle intrusive and 60s as standard acts and is haptic rather repulsive :-(; the temperature display is reminiscent of a radio alarm clock from the 80s: red :-( The handles are designed as rounded square bars and. slightly bulkier than the SIEMENS.
C) decision:
I have both models several times long at Saturn and Media Markt (where of course much, are too expensive and the supply free use space nor additional costs a chunk of money!) Looked and finally found that the color of the transparent plastic parts the most important because most dominant criterion, so that on balance the friendly, modern, cleaner and more suitable for cold white LED lighting, bluish inner workings of the BOSCH was the decisive factor; the not quite as beautiful moldings optics and haptics, and the Omma-color temperature display I've just accepted it. The greenish-brown gray SIEMENS inner life seemed to me simply to muddy grottig and not fresh. Really beautiful and graceful, neither the BOSCH, SIEMENS nor the handles, but recessed handles there at the 201 cm version in 60 cm width and anti-fingerprint stainless steel oddly unfortunately in none of the two manufacturers :-(
Our was therefore, after some back and forth, finally the BOSCH! :-)
Whether now one or the other twin to maybe 20 or 30 price hikes is cheaper than the other, played in making this decision, however, for us no role.
Maybe this help often not noticed because the photos are difficult to come recognizable detail differences to one or other in the agony of choice between the fraternal twins.
