We have replaced some old 500W halogen spotlight against this and were only critical if the power could ever reach. On the contrary, these floodlights are even much brighter. I would say comparable to a 1 kW radiator, if not even brighter.

Let's see how long it will last. has been running for some time for outdoor use (under a canopy) at the dingy cold weather and no problems so far.
