First, let me say that I also found the previous album "Emigrate" hammermäßig, even if you have been recognized clearly the musical parallels to Rammstein (with English and texts). This new work of Richerd Zven Kruspe looks much more detached and independent. Of course, you already recognize somewhere that the creator of this work belongs to Rammstein (which is should be as well), but otherwise it does not have much to do with it. A new sound and intelligent (re) texts expect paired with a really great tune !! (Almost) all songs go directly into the ear and stay there first, the entire album has neatly pure and carved with me while listening)
Really every song sounds different and has what makes it unique on the album. While many other artists, the albums sound like one continuous long song, this disc therefore an enormous thumb here is really varied, if only up !! Now to the songs:
Preliminary is said, which are not the songs with guest artists songs from RZK with another musician, but the songs were indeed written by him, but were tailored to the respective guest musicians.
Oh ... and consistently a mega good sound quality, real hammer as clear is the sound! Like It !!
1. Eat You Alive - 10/10
The song I've heard before album release, which I was also only really pay attention to the second album by RZK. It has a real catchy and despite the feature of Delle (frontman of Seeed) a typical RZK song. Very cool melody and cool guitar sound, beautiful dynamic song, all in all a real hammer moderate opener!
2. Get Down - 8/10
I must admit at first I could hear absolutely nothing with it, but the more it went, the better I found the song after all. It reminds me personally more of a "harder" number of Depeche Mode at the beginning, shortly before the end we then however again quite rocky. This last part would have to make a longer time in my opinion ..... but as I said, this song is just designed for Peaches. Looking at this song just for yourself, it's really a great song, but one probably would have you do not want to publish on an album of RZK as it might seem a bit out of place with some listeners. Nevertheless, 7.5 out of 10 points, that's actually a good song.
3. Rock City - 10/10
A really strong song, what the lords of Emigrate and Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead frontman) have delivered since, technically sound typical Motörhead, lyrically and melodically (just the chorus) typical RZK. One of the best songs on the album is, neat and simple rocking forward only!
4. Hypothetical - 7/10
Recorded with Marilyn Manson, it sounds exactly then, I can only personally little with it, and so is this song for me but the weakest on the album. For fans certainly an awesome song .... but mine is not genuine. Nevertheless, a real hard sound and perfect for headbanging: D
5. Rainbow - 20/10
No I have not committed myself, this song I give 20 out of 10 points ... I also like 30 and more :)
This song is just a real treat for my meatus, has tidy pace, a really nice text and the melody of the chorus has taken root in my brain for 10 days. ;) Just the Oberhammer this song, my favorite of the songs and certainly the music tab highlight of the album. The song as a whole stands out from the rest of the songs in terms melody and dynamics, but by no means negative. The melody of the chorus you just have love, I just can not get enough of this song ...... LOVE IT !!!
6. Born On My Own - 9/10
Slower pieces, but also just in the chorus melodious and almost a (semi-) ballad. Is definitely always nice to listen to, even when the guitars one probably because of the quieter character of the song had something softer can be .... still a great song.
7. Giving Up - 9/10
Again one of the harder piece goes from nice and you can again go along nicely with the music. But the chorus ... but other parts of the song are not very varied in melody ..... well, but any way he likes. Even if I stand more on beautiful melodies in the hard rock style, it does not hurt the song, somewhat monotonous sounding (... what indeed must also mean not always a bad thing;))). Nevertheless, even a touch better than "Get Down" or Hypothetical "I think, therefore 8.5 points.
8. My Pleasure - 8.5 / 10
In short, real crass song goes, from neat and fetzt just. However, in this song I miss somewhere the highlight ..... and the chorus could have been musical also can make better. Too bad, the song has really great potential, some of it remained unused in my opinion.
9. Happy Times - 9.5 / 10
A very beautiful song, what was with the girlfriend of Richard, Margaux Bossieux added. Has a really nice melody in the chorus and is all around a really successful song. For 10 points, it was me then but not quite enough, because I find that it does not quite comes close to the sound of "Eat You Alive", "Rock City" or "Rainbow". Nevertheless great song!
10. Faust - 10/10
A song to my liking, crass beginning, guitars and bass thunders neatly in the verses and a refrain, the first one does not forget so quickly. Heard from all my favorites on the album, a really continuous successful song, !; only recommended)
11. Silent So Long - 9/10
I had already mentioned that the corresponding songs are cut from the guest musicians, so I was unsure before the first hearing, what to think of this song as it was recorded with Jonathan Davis (frontman of Korn) and I with his band did not emulate all that much. It has nevertheless set out the song is better than I thought it far in advance, though you can hear the Änhlichkeit to grain, but this is negligible weight when listening. It is again a rather quieter song with a really beautiful melody in chorus. Unexpectedly good song, so 9 points!
One should be about reading the reviews aware that each has its own musical tastes and each may have a different opinion on the songs or the entire album.
I think it's definitely real hammer what the Lord Kruspe served us here !! Way to go, Richard! ;) If it were me, I would definitely like to see more songs like "Rainbow" because the song is simply awesome high 10 !! :)
In any case, all the 5 stars for the album, am looking forward to new Emigrate.
