We had previously twice a Senseo with Michschäumeinheit. Both were defective within the warranty. We always get the money back via Amazon - tip. Then we took the Senseo without this Michschäumeinheit and is now running even 1.5 years with no problems (I hope it keeps for a long time :-)). The coffee tastes good to us but we are not the absolute Kaffeegenieser or connoisseur and on the day we drink VLT. 2 to 3 cups.
