Compact, it can be taken anywhere, fits everywhere and is quite full. The sound quality is correct for this size and type of unit and the headphone jack is a definite plus. Playing mp3s on a USB stick is easy. Regrettably, the radio tuner is not digital and that there is no indication on the LCD screen of the current station (frequency or name). A remote control would have been helpful. Nevertheless, it deserves its 4 stars for the service at lower cost.
